Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Project Support Officer to join our Adelaide team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential support across a range of tasks.
In this role, you will be supporting the Team Leaders and Engineers across a variety of internal & external project support tasks. Your strong organisational & communication skills, collaborative approach, and ability to multi-task will be key to your success. We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who enjoys variety in their work and who can thrive in a fast-paced and supportive team environment.
Key Duties:
Assist with coordination of general building maintenance activities and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
Plan and organise company or team events and activities
Assist with internal & external project administration and documentation tasks
Support development of project progress reports including cost & schedule reporting
Coordinate and schedule meetings, site visits, and other project related activities
Take minutes during meetings and follow up on action items
Maintain and update project registers, documentation, and reporting tools
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to support project delivery
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, we are seeking for candidates with great personality, collaborative, ability to prioritise tasks, and with the following relevant skills and experience:
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with MS Project is preferred, though not essential
Good organisational, task prioritisation and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Previous experience in co-ordinating building maintenance activities & interfacing with internal & external stakeholders
Previous experience in project support roles including progress reporting, cost & schedule tracking, review & approval of invoices, attending meetings & minute taking
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
A requirement for this role is to complete a satisfactory Australian police clearance.
